A série, criada por David Crane (co-criador de Friends) e Jeff Klarik (Mad About You), conta a história de um casal de roteiristas britânicos, Beverly (Tamsin Greig) e Sean Lincoln (Stephen Mangan). Com o fim de sua premiada série, “Lyman’s Boys”, o casal recebe uma proposta do executivo Merc Lapidus para fazer uma versão americana da série. Mas como as coisas tendem a se perder durante adaptações, Beverly e Sean acabam tendo que lidar com o ator Matt LeBlanc, no papel do protagonista da série.
Episodes follows the lives of Sean and Beverly Lincoln, British sitcom producers who are persuaded to move to Hollywood and remake their series for an American audience. When the couple is forced to cast Matt LeBlanc in the lead role, a bizarre triangle is formed that strains their marriage and threatens their show.
