No início da Segunda Guerra, o cinema se tornava algo muito popular nos EUA, algo que os nazistas sabiam bem e utilizaram ao máximo como propaganda. Os aliados sabiam bem disso e tentaram o mesmo.
Steven Spielberg, Guillermo del Toro, Francis Ford Coppola, Lawrence Kasdan e Paul Greengrass são os entrevistados. Meryl Streep se encarrega da narração.
