Mike Baxter (Tim Allen) é o Diretor de Marketing de uma loja de artigos esportivos. Fã de aventuras, ele é o rei da ousadia no trabalho, mas em casa é o último a ter voz. Dominada por mulheres – sua esposa Vanessa (Nancy Travis) e suas três filhas: Kristin (Amanda Fuller), de 22 anos, Mandy (Molly Ephrain), de 17, e Eve (Kaitlyn Dever), de 14. Depois de passar anos sendo uma dona de casa, Vanessa volta ao mercado de trabalho, o que faz Mike ter que ser mais ativo na educação das filhas.
Mike Baxter is the marketing director for an outdoor sporting goods store “Outdoor Man”. He loves traveling the world and having outdoor adventures and, of course, he loves his sports, he drives a pick-up truck and works on cars. With his Outdoor Man blog he can share his “man” view with the internet and the world. However at home he is surround by his wife, Vanessa, and their three daughters, Mandy, Eve and Kristin. And that is a different adventure the Outdoor Man has to adjust to every day.
